China Investment Climate Forum (CICF) is an international forum jointly established by the World Bank, State Information Center and the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission. The Forum intends to engage in popularizing the concept of improving investment climate, promoting the study and evaluation of China 's investment climate, facilitating the exchanges between government agencies, enterprises and academic circles, and popularizing and exchanging successful experiences in improving investment climate.
Since its establishment in 2002, CICF has held five successful conferences in Beijing; Changsha, Hunan province; Jiangmen, Guangdong province; Hangzhou, Zhejiang province; and Chengdu, Sichuan province, and has played positively roles in improving local investment climates, elevating urban images, enhancing urban notability, and in pushing forward local opening-up and socio-economic development.
