Third CICF
On May 25, 2005, co-sponsored by the World Bank, State Information Center , the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission and Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the Third China Investment Climate Forum, which featured the theme “Sustainable Development of Local Economy,” was held in Jiangmen , Guangdong Province. Mme. He Luli, Vice-Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress, and relevant leaders from ministries and commissions including National Development and Reform Commission, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Ministry of Commerce attended the Forum and delivered speeches. The World Bank announced at the Forum World Development Report 2005: “A Better Investment Climate for Everyone”, and introduced the World Bank's cooperative achievements in case studies on urban investment climate within a large number of developing countries, which subsequently drew broad attention.
