Directly under the Ministry of Land and Resources (MLR), the Publicity and Education Center (PEC) of MLR is an entity which is responsible for publicity campaigns and issuing information on land and resources. In conformity with the unified arrangements, PEC assists the MLR to release news and participates in important publicity activities such as “World Earth Day” and “National Land Day”. The main responsibilities of PEC are as the followings: organizing cultural activities and promotional campaigns on land and resources in a variety of forms through multi-channels and multi-levels; producing and distributing arts and cultural productions related to the promotion plan for land and resources through television, radio, posters, publicity photos and publicity pictorials, etc. ; exploring the growth point of cultural industry and organizing exhibition activities; involving in publicity activities of China's state situation, policies and the rules of law on land and resources; promoting theoretical research in publicity; responsible for collecting, compiling, and exchanging the promotional information on land and resources ; and also undertaking other work responsibilities assigned by MLR |
